  3. Entice visitors to leave their contact information on your website. Use the baiting method, like providing a free e-book or subscription to a newsletter or giving away free informational material etc. to encourage users to give you their email addresses. These contacts can then be follow up to become potential leads.

    Very good resolutions for someone to follow in MLM network marketing for the year of 2009. While all very important I believe that gathering the contact information of the visitors to your blog or website is one of the best advices. Those prospects are the best ones and by continuously communicating with them through email you have the chance to convert them to distributors in your MLM organization.

    @Chris : Email follow up and list building is definitely the top most strategy for both online and offline marketing. This is true not only in MLM, but in all businesses. However, it is also crucial to have good rapport building & offering of valuable information in the follow up emails instead of just sending sales pitch all the time.

    2) I’d avoid a “site builder” because then you end up stuck with that provider or you end up having to re-do your site if you ever do decide to move.
