Simply put, co-operative marketing implies marketing or advertising programs in which the advertising costs of the retailer are borne by the manufacturer to a certain extent. This system was designed by a company way back in 1999 for retaining a large number of affiliates in conventional as well as MLM business.

Co-operative marketing involves experienced people who are the best in the industry. They help you with attractive brochures and flyers for distribution. This material is free for you as the cost is incurred by the company. This is because they want you to do business for them and increase sales. When you have a regular supply of materials like these, lead generation will be easy too.

Let us discuss how co-operative marketing can help you to generate MLM leads in four simple steps.

  1. Create your own website:
A co-operative company will provide you with a free personal website that is a duplicate copy of the hosted company website with added features. These include testimonials, reports and other links. So you can take your first step towards lead generation by letting everybody know about your website.
  2. Learn from video or live training modules:
When you join a co-operative marketing company, you are exposed to experts’ lectures and tips for lead generation. Moreover, you can avail of the video training facility to know how to go about lead generation in a practical way. This is the second step that trains you for success.
  3. Free email training:
On joining, every affiliate receives email training that contains tips and tricks and guides you for doing business. Lead generation queries are thus solved in time and you can rectify your efforts if they are missing out on something.
  4. Home based study:
Every co-operative marketing company has a well structured home study course for you. This is given free of cost to you though it may be sold at a higher price in the market. It contains lessons on how to make the most of the Internet for marketing the products. This course material serves as a guide at any time of the day or night to help you in lead generation.

How To Give MLM Training To Your Downlines

downline trainingMLM Training is essential for your downlines because it’s important for them to understand what your company is all about and it should be a top priority for MLM companies even if there is a small number of downlines.

The MLM training usually start with an introduction of what the MLM Company is, the products or services that they sell, their marketing strategies or techniques, and how much commission or payment you can expect to receive.

Firstly, you must also give your downlines all the resources they need such as promotional materials, brochures, conference call sessions, follow up tips and ensure that they are aware of the different promos and updates on the company so they can offer the best suggestions to their customers. You should also consider introducing them to the persons above them so that these people can help them get to know more about the company and give them useful tips and hints on how to sell effectively.

Secondly, some tools can assist you greatly in MLM training. For example, telephones and teleseminars could give MLM downlines opportunities to share their knowledge with their members and also MLM members can make use of these networking sessions to offer the company’s products to potential prospects.

The technology today enables your members to connect to their customers effortlessly. Example are social networking sites like Yuwie and Facebook. Blogging is also a good way of keeping in touch with your team. Maximum Downline Retention With MLM Training

mlm trainingIf you are in the MLM business, you would have experienced this frustrating problem where you recruit one person and it seems that two others would leave. You probably have wondered why it is so difficult to get your MLM downline to stay active and increase your downline retention rate.

We focus all of our time and effort on the toughest parts of building the MLM business, which is recruiting new downline members. Yet we forget to take action on the easiest and most important part: following-up on our existing downline members.

Your goal for your MLM business should be to improve the downline retention in your team and to be a strong leader for your downline. Let’s take a look at three critical strategies which you can incorporate in your MLM training to make sure your downline stays active for years and not months.

Firstly, follow-up is following-through. Just because someone signs up in your MLM Company does not mean the sale is complete and you can forget about it the next day. You have to follow-up with your new downline member within five days. Make an effort to call them within five days to ensure they are happy, are happy with the product and they will appreciate it. If they want to build the business, make sure that the resources are available to them. Remember that helping them is equivalent to helping yourself. Besides phone calling, you can automate your followup process with weekly newsletter. This can be easily setup with an autoresponder program.

Secondly, you could keep a database on members in your MLM downline because as your business grows, it will become hard to keep all downline data and their individual needs in your head. You have to create customer information such as their goals, accomplishments or even something that is not related to your business. I assure you that they will be really surprised and impressed when you can still “remember” their personal information when you follow up. The Dream Team Formula back office offers you exactly that, you can add downlines to unlimited levels and email them through our hosted solution.

Lastly, you could develop a close relationship with your downline. Try to be genuine in your concern for your members and show them that you are their friend, not just in it to get their money. If you provide great value through concern for them as a friend and deliver high quality customer service, you will find your members working hard and staying active as long as you want.

If you want an active and profitable downline in your MLM business, remember in your heart that how much you can earn will be in direct proportion to your personal follow-up.

Why Do You Need An MLM Prospecting System

mlm prospecting systemAre MLM prospecting systems really all that important?

Before we answer that question, let’s think about the importance of prospecting. Many people in the MLM business know that a steady flow of prospects is the lifeblood of your MLM business. MLM prospecting system enables you to make the whole process of getting a constant or even an endless flow of prospects to show your business in auto-pilot mode once you understand how the MLM prospecting system works. The learning process may be rocky and takes some effort but the outcome will be very rewarding once you get it running smoothly.

With a good MLM prospecting system running well, you could save an invaluable asset and a commodity that most people fall short of - time. Besides saving time, it can sort your prospects into those that are serious to work with you and the tire-kickers.

I can promise you won’t want the tire-kickers in your MLM business at all costs because they are just curious, don’t want to do work and can even kill businesses. However, you can’t afford to close them so it’s a good idea to divide these kinds of people out so you do not waste your time entertaining the wrong crowd.

Dream Team Formula automates the follow up system through the free tour page. So every new prospect is funneled through a series of pre-loaded autoresponder emails to ensure that you end up with only the most qualified prospects.

Lastly, a MLM prospecting system could be seen as insurance for your business and assurance for your prospects because it is easier for a new prospect to find success in MLM business if they have a successful and proven system to follow to gather their own prospects.

9 Reasons Why Your Downlines Quit

mlm downline retention problemIn multilevel marketing (MLM), your income is based not only on your actual product sales, but by the number of downline individuals you have working under you. In theory, the more downlines you have, the greater your passive revenue stream.

But too often, you work to create a good second or third tier only to have the marketers walk away. Those aren’t just individuals quitting; you’re losing a valuable investment. It is by far in your best interest to solve any retention problem in your downline.

Broken Dreams
MLM isn’t for everyone. Some MLM businesses heavily hype their program to make it seem amazingly simple and assure recruits that they will see thousands overnight. When the dreams don’t come true, the charm is gone and the person quits. To avoid broken dreams, avoid selling them in the first place. Sell the business plan, not empty promises.

Missing Motivation
Individuals are recruited to join a MLM program. You get them signed up and turn them loose. And they quit. They didn’t join up to be turned loose. They want guidance, advice and motivation. If you’re selling the program, you need to continue selling it until your downlines are seeing their own success and can begin to motivate others.

Other Opportunities
Other opportunities might pull marketers away. If they aren’t successful fast enough with one program, another might be worth a try. Again, simply motivate and remind your downlines that there is a payoff, and share some tricks and tips to help them find success and stick with it.

Comparisons
If Sally is making ten times less than Bob, she might become disillusioned and quit. Rather than letting Sally stew about why Bob’s doing so much better than she is, help her find the reasons. Improve her techniques and possibly even mirror what works for Bob. She’ll be feeling worthy for comparison in no time.

Laziness
Unfortunately, some people are just lazy or unmotivated. While these people can make decent employees, they don’t always make the best independent workers. If you find your downlines are simply unwilling to do what it takes, consider targeting different kinds of individuals as downlines or treat your existing ones like employees. Give the lazy members of your team goals and reminders about what to do each week, and they might just do it.

Unstructured
A MLM program can feel unstructured to someone unused to working on their own time. A downline can quit if they feel they can’t make heads or tails of their time and efforts. To prevent this, offer your downlines a handbook or schedule to help them structure their time and efforts most effectively.

Bullied
If management for a MLM program is too strict or aggressive, you can lose downlines. Bullying is rarely effective for anything long term, so if your upstream is constantly putting pressure on your downstream or the program guidelines are too strict or limiting, your downlines might simply decide it’s not worth the effort.

Poor Program
Like all things there are good programs and poor ones. If you’re in a poor program that doesn’t offer enough incentives or makes things more complicated than necessary, your downlines are constantly at risk. Find a quality program that is comfortable and profitable before building a downline.

Reality Check
Sometimes downlines live in a dream of passive revenue for too long and then balk when they realize they are salespeople. If they don’t have the personality or skills for sales, they will not be successful. Sales can be an intimidating job for many, especially those without marketing or closing skills. Help your downlines learn to navigate the sales industry and you will all be successful
