I agree. Forums are a very good place to promote. As long as the threads don’t turn into an “I’ll give you all this stuff for free if you join me” contest.
I think serious people prefer help and advice, and not freebies that anyone can get for free elsewhere.

I love forums they are an excellent way to get the word out but you are right you need to be careful or you can lose credibilty fast.

The path to economic freedom.
We all have a dream - it could be anything from a little extra money up to being financially independent - but few people know what it takes to get there. It does not help that you have a great desire. No, something more is required.
If you just go and think about that you want to get something that has say 20% chance of success. Then you should write down this dream because by doing that you increase the probability to achieve it from 20 % to 50 %. What you should do is to put up a picture of this dream. Simply sit down and start going through magazines or start browsing the web so you can find a picture that illustrates what you want to achieve. It can be a little difficult to put up a picture of a new partner or an education, but then take a picture that you can associate with the dream.
Then put up the picture in a place where you can see it every day. A good place is on the mirror. Even if you don´t look directly at the picture your subconscious mind registers it and remembers it.
A lot of people don´t know effective methods to create an income. They have a dream, but the dream remains just a dream. You have to find a way to reach your goals.
I have tried lots of activities in the last ten years before I found by chance, an activity which will eventually take me to my ultimate dream, that is financial independence.
I shall now briefly tell you how my journey to financial freedom has begun. I have started from zero with a lot of failures in the past. I have worked with small hand-written stickers that I’ve put in various places as supermarkets, etc. and I was hoping that this would give me what I searched. I also had some success with this method, but it requires much patience.
I have also long experience from different network companies and I have had some success with a few of them. Now I have found a concept on Internet that everyone can use to earn a lot of money without being an expert in economy or computer science. Even if you like me have been very poor and even if you have no social network and don´t know a lot of people you can have a great success.
I myself knew that I had the key to success, but until now I didn´t know how to use it. I was in desperate mode.
But then by chance I received a call in which I and a friend discussed various ways to get out of our poor economy. My friend gave me a link to a new program called Maverick Money Makers, and I found it very interesting. I took a first small look at the program and it made me become very engaged and I wanted to know more. I looked at the videos available on their website and learned a lot from them. The creator of this program is called Mack and I followed his instructions in detail. He is a very good teacher and it is easy to follow him and take in his instructions. He showed me a way to enter the path of success and at the end earn a lot of money on Internet.

Later the same day to my joy I got my first commission into my account and I then I knew that this was the way to success. Everyone can follow this path. It is really very simple, but you have to take the first step like me. Since then I have followed Mack’s instructions and the income has step by step increased and there is no upper limit.

I myself am just new to this strategy. I heard this method first from Daegan Smith who teaches online network marketing. He suggested to post at least 3 forum post per day. But dont just spam you must read the forums that you know something about…like ppc, seo, copywriting, etc. Than put your 2 cents in. Get involved with the community.
So i’ve been doing this for 4 days now and got two clicks to my capture page and 1 lead which i think is awesome. If i keep this up I think i will get massive results.
