How To Stand Out In Internet Network Marketing

How is it possible to make sure you are known when you enter the world-wide web? With the huge community of pages and pages of information and millions of players how can you stand out? With internet network marketing and knowing that the marketing part is crucial, what enables you to succeed?

In conventional marketing there is branding. Branding is still a requirement of the internet. Unless you stand out from the masses of others plying their business in varying degrees of intensity, how are you ever going to make it? As the internet is a relatively impersonal place with little direct presence of yourself actually there, you need something powerful to have an effect.

Personality on the Web
Images and sounds will help. This as as close as the real contact in the real world can be, It explains the success of the MySpace and Facebook formats. And if you do happen to stumble across some such site while doing a search the effect of a video which can be played almost immediately is quite profound. Elements of the poster’s personality are evident immediately. Even those non-verbal cues like eye contact and body responses as the person speaks give large volumes of information that the written page cannot quite match.

Your Purpose
But is it is well to remember, before you place an on-line video, that you need a purpose to be there. Or at least if you are pursuing internet network marketing you need that. Why do you you want to enter the web and what are you offering? This clarity, a bit akin to that recommended by Napoleon Hill in his classic “Think and Grow Rich”, is important. As one of his strategies he suggests you need to have a goal (monetary in the case of the book) that you are aiming for, that you have a date by which you wish to attain that, and that you know what value you are going to give in exchange for it. Similarly we need some clarity about our purpose before we launch onto the world wide web in search of internet mlm success.

Growth And Flexibility
In some ways though, you can never be absolutely sure of what exactly you will be and how you will run things on the web until you get on it. As you become involved in the community your ideas begin to clarify. Having to put out there what you believe and have experienced crystallizes some of your reasons and aspirations. Feedback from your forays will redirect you as well. Some approaches and ideas produce more fruit than others. And like any savvy marketer you need to take heed of these responses to adjust what and how you are doing your work. In itself this is hugely useful. Your business will be in a state of flux finding your path. But if you respond appropriately and learn from your mistakes (and there is no way you will not make some of these) then you will be a much better network marketer for it.

What sort of things help your branding?

Your Story
Well your past experience is always helpful. And it is a natural point to work from. We are the product of our upbringing and the events that happen to us along life’s way. The story of your history is always interesting to people and creates an element of kinship. Of course there are those out there who will not relate to you. But the value of the web is the in the huge numbers of people out there. The more there are, the more chance we will have of encountering someone who relates to us. So we do not need to be bland and inoffensive. By creating a larger-than-life character in a way you create a powerful magnetic attraction to those with a similar or related bent. That shared identity and understanding creates the beginnings of rapport and that vital trust that allows for more direct communication. So never forget the importance of the story of you.

Stories
With the constant amount of entertainment we are all exposed to it is important to be entertaining. Remember that stories sell and facts tell. By relating you daily life stories you will engage people further. Letting them know of amusing happenings and changes you are going through you also create more of that personality that we are used to relating to in the live situation.

So do not be afraid of relating those embarrassing or annoying moments – you don’t want to be too personal – but at least people are quite likely to be able to connect with it.

Remember in network marketing people also relate and stay with the person more than with the opportunity. By being a compelling person you create even stronger attraction.

Your Company
The value you have in your company is also important. For some reason it was important to you. and for those who will most likely respond this will be important too. Being able to feel your enthusiasm for it will translate across the medium too.

Clarity
Clear messages of what you are seeking and hoping for also helps. It is easier to relate to a strong personality. And if you want to retain people it is important to have a clear point of difference from others out there. You can afford to be outrageous to a degree, especially if it reinforces your brand.

Consistency
Make sure you respond quickly and consistently to your contacts. With the flaky world that is out there that assurance of consistency creates great trust and loyalty.

Multiple Exposures
Chose several mediums to work with. As people are present in different areas of the web if your mlm home business is going to find the right people you need to be exposed in a large number of places to find those people you are looking for in large enough numbers to ensure that no matter how fickle these wandering net people are, they will find you and stick with you.

Your Persona
Over time you will develop a persona on the web. And your particular strengths will become more clear. You can add this to your contact details to reinforce this even more. In this way you become more compelling by having a clear message as to who exactly you are and what you stand for. It creates a greater polarity. But that stronger differentiation creates even stronger attraction as it creates stronger repulsion for some. But you only want those who are going to respond well to you anyway. Why not make it even more secure.

Finally, it may not always be the best to promote your company first. People are always keen for information and connection. Once this is well established they become more curious about who you really are and what mlm business you are involved with. A more natural inquiry and response can be created very readily.

Are Your Wealth Beliefs Sabotaging Your Network Marketing Success?

“What do you want earn a year?” the business analyst was asking me. In an overview looking at where we were headed and what we wanted to do I was not quite expecting this and had to think hard for a few minutes.

And looking back at my reply I am not altogether happy with the one I gave. I mean, how much is enough, or what is a right answer? Certainly my response gave some keys to what I was thinking.

And if there was no limit to what you could earn, what would your answer be? How can this be you ask? How could there be no limit to what I could earn? In those questions lies the rub. Here we look into our own preconceptions about the universe, what it is and our place in it. Do we, or have we set limits both on what is possible and what we ourselves can achieve? And does that explain where we are today?

To read people who have thoughts on this, we do box ourselves in with the boundary conditions of our thinking. And this has been a slowly cultured process for most of us. As children we tended to have these unlimited dreams. Slowly over time we are educated out of this, initially by others and then by ourselves. How?

Language
One way is in the language we were exposed to. The “we can’t afford it” expression, “what do you think I am: made of money”, “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “you have to work hard for money” etc. Most of us (surely all of us) have grown up with these expressions or a variation of them most of our lives. Heard repeatedly they tend to have the effect of becoming established truths. Soon we cannot imagine a world outsode of these confines. So we limit ourselves to them.

Modeling
What we see our parents and friends doing in relation to money also affects us. The way we were raised tends to almost put a recording inside of us. We follow these patterns that were modeled for us by those we respected and had to answer to.

For some people this was a limitation in expecting money, being able to meet the bills, or own a house, or to do so without a a struggle. Or some were raised in situations where it was either boom or bust as the parents’ business went through these cycles. And we can either acquiesce to these situations and reproduce them in our own lives or rebel against them and head in the other direction. But depending on our motivation even this latter response can have either positive or negative effects.

Our Efforts
Then as we enter the workforce and begin to earn money our experience can further shape our mindset and expectations. We can find our wages fixed, or our prospects limited no matter how long we stay in the company or industry. And if we still nurse those childhood dreams what do we do? Usually we tend to lower our expectations and dreams to match our income. We are “being realistic”. We have come “down to earth”.

For some though there is a challenge to look for something better. Either looking at multiple jobs or entering network marketing people head off into a bright new hope. Then what happens? They find they are not succeeding. Or maybe getting to a certain level but then no further.

What is the problem? Is network marketing at fault? Is the world, or our government, or other forces keeping us down? Do they not want us to succeed?

Our Mindset
Usually the problem is us. Our mindset. The set of values, beliefs and experiences that set us down a certain path and caused us to react and live in certain ways and deliver certain outcomes. We can earn much more than our parents and yet not seem to be getting any further than they did. Is this the same for everybody? We only need to look about us to see this is not so. There are people who have come from much more deprived backgrounds than us, without the same privileges and education who can yet be much better off. Stupendously better off. Why?

These ingrained beliefs and systems keep dragging us down. Our mind, particularly our subconscious or unconscious mind, controls so many of our actions. It is the most powerful part of our mind. If it disagrees with where we say we are headed we are unlikely to get there.

Mindset Wealth Classes
We tend have levels of belief about wealth. Whether as a poor person just struggling to pay the bills. Or as a middle class person who just wants to be comfortable – this is where I fell into a trap of giving a figure for what I wanted to earn. Or you can have a rich or wealthy mentality which does not set those limits on yourself.

To see what we really believe and embrace we only need to look at where we and those around us are.

What Should We Aim At?
My question to myself is “How much could I earn?” And my answer when looked at after a night’s sleep is unlimited. Why would I want to limit myself? Or, if I wanted to give a figure, why not something huge?

And if your mind is thinking “Impossible” or “Greedy” or something similar then just realize this says more about your unconscious mind’s beliefs and habits than it does about me.

And is that why you, and I, are not achieving the massive level of success that is really possible in mlm. It is a highly leveraged business where we are not limited to the abilities and efforts of one or even a few. Likewise in looking at other businesses there is no need to accept a limit. How can this be? A real understanding of how we can utilize our unique gifts and bring on board others with their unique gifts will open this up for us. We can all achieve much more than we already have. The answer is in understanding our strengths, playing to these and utilizing the skills of others to achieve a level well beyond anything we have managed so far.

10 Reasons Why People Would Choose To Join Your Network Marketing Business

How do we get people clamoring to join our network marketing opportunity? Once we have established trust with them, how can we get to the heart of why they would want to participate?

We all remember how keen we were to get started once we saw the ideal opportunity. And we have our reasons for why we are doing it. Previously I have mentioned that the second greatest reason people do not join us is our failure to establish a need.

And then there is the other reason of failing to provide a solution.

If we do not establish a need then we are most unlikely to be able to provide a solution.

Our reason for getting involved, and it may have grown or changed over time, can often seem the reason someone else should get involved. But if it does not resonate with them then it is most unlikely to move them.

If we can move people, they are more likely to come with us. And they are also more likely to stay involved. It comes from their deep desires.

I have heard great presentations that cause tremendous emotion that can move me at the time. But the next day it has evaporated.

Have you had that experience too with your prospects?

But if it relates to a heart felt need, then people will buy into the network marketing business so much more strongly.

How can we do this?

Well we could assume we know why someone would get in and present from that viewpoint. I have done that. But if I have assumed wrongly, then I will not connect. You know that glazed look?

Or, I might assume correctly. But in telling someone something about themselves rather than letting them discover it for themselves, I usually encounter some resistance.

If I give them a choice about them telling me about what motivates them and why, then I am much more likely to “have their ear” and be able to lead them along with the ideal solution.

So what are the 10 main reasons people would have to join our mlm business?

1. Extra Income
Many people these days need some extra money to meet the rising costs of food, petrol, interest rates etc. They would love to have a way to achieve this. If they enjoy their current job but would like something a little extra, then this could be a great opportunity.

2. Financial Freedom
This is a reason many people get in. And in many presentations I hear this seems to be presumed, along with #1 above as about the only ones people could have. We may well be attracting these people. But what about all those with other motivations out there?

3. More Spare Time
Again this is another major benefit I hear people talking about. So I guess it is the big three! People would love to spend time with their kids, loved ones and others. They would love to be able to spend more time than their current main job or jobs leave them.

4. Personal Development
I cannot remember anyone I know getting involved around me for this. And a lot of people you talk to in network marketing feel this is one real benefit. It certainly is necessary to get anywhere in most mlm opportunities. Why not give people this as a reason to get involved?

5. Helping Others
What about all those people out there who are busy in various volunteer organizations? For many this is a huge motivating factor for extra satisfaction in their life. Why not tap it? If it resonates with them, why would you not use it?

6. Meeting New People
Network marketing is a great place to meet people. Especially positive and motivated people. Our circle of friends has certainly grown massively with our involvement. It is across occupations, ages, religions and cultures. And there are many examples of people meeting their life partners in the business.

7. Retirement
With most people not saving enough to meet a reasonable retirement income, there are so many possibilities. At times we can assume that as people are getting older this might obviously be their main reason. We can assume this at our peril. If it isn’t what motivates them, they are unlikely to see an opportunity.

8. Leave a Legacy
I have heard this as a reason with some people. They want to set up a legacy for generations of their family. And in a number of mlm opportunities this is a possibility. The idea that residual income will keep coming in for many years afterwards as long as the goods and services of the company continue to be purchased give security to many people with this desire.

9. Have Your Own Business
Being you own boss, not having to clock in and out, and getting the pay you feel you are worth rather than what someone else thinks you are worth is massively important to quite a few people. In fact I would have to say this is probably about the fourth in the above ideas that I hear given for why people would want to do an mlm home business.

10. To Pursue Your Heart’s Desire or Dream
Many of us have made decisions in our late teenage years as to what we should pursue. Or we have felt we have to take on a certain occupation because that is where the money or openings are. And we do not follow what we would really love to do. Suddenly having the option to go after your heart can be liberating. It might not be necessary to follow network marketing to do so. Many have done well just following their heart. But many have felt they cannot move because they are locked in with mortgages and family responsibilities. If there was a way to get there without compromising their commitments, a number of people would chose this path.

So there are the ten motivating factors in people’s lives.

How do you use it?

Ask your prospects what it is for them. Let them expose and explore this so you have all they reasons they want to follow this and what it would mean if they didn’t and you will have so little resistance to a well presented opportunity you will not have to persuade them it is right for them.

And this applies equally in internet network marketing! Happy network marketing!
