Social media such as Twitter, Facebook are playing an important role in developing your Internet MLM business. We come across many success stories about a flourishing MLM system that was greatly helped due to Digg or Twitter or something else. Let me tell you about five ways to gauge the effect this network marketing tool has on our business.

  1. Website traffic
    This is probably the most natural way to measure social media through number of hits. Lots of websites even feature a counter that keeps on ticking as and when there is a new visitor. The final number that joins your MLM system is important.
  2. Feedback
    The comments, customer reviews and ratings that are left back by visitors on your website or other websites can be considered as participation by them. This is the traffic that you have managed to attract through network marketing. Feedback can also be in the form of taking part in the discussion forums you have set up or answering queries posted by other users.
  3. Sales figures
    Sales for your MLM system can be measured by way of organic Google results or paid links (PPC advertising). The income generated due to Twitter and YouTube campaigns is quite substantial.
  4. Leads
    Though you are a part of a MLM business opportunity and have received MLM training for generating leads, they have to be counted as well. Depending on what product or service you are going to provide, these numbers can be calculated as actual sales happen. If it is something like a consultancy, then the inquiries you received are your leads for the month.
  5. Search engine marketing
    Social media has the capacity to expand your internet MLM business like nothing else. A strategically placed video or image on a website like Digg will generate something more than just traffic to your MLM system website. The quality of such traffic will be high, resulting in a lot more referrals and sign-ups.

Social media creates a wide customer base that will recommend your MLM system to their friends, contacts, family and other social media connections that will help you grow your business fantastically.

    Great content. I love the search engine marketing tip. Search engine truly brings lots of quality traffic. Infact its one of the most inexpensive ways to drive traffic and generate signups.
