MLM (multi level marketing) is a form of marketing most companies use as a strategy to advertise their business or increase their sales.  MLM is network marketing, direct selling and referral marketing to generate business leads.  It is based on relationship referrals.  There are several types of MLM opportunities that are highly recommended and very affordable to start.

Local Surveyed Leads are one of the best MLM opportunities.  They are usually screened leads that let you find out if the candidate is serious about starting their own home based business. You will need information such as their location and phone number.  You will also have to ask their reason for wanting to work from home, and what the earliest they can be available would be.  Often times you will have to ask how much money and time they are willing to invest in their new business.

Email Auto Responder Leads is another good MLM opportunity.  This email marketing method of MLM lets you contact prospects using email.  These leads have the candidate’s email address, their name and their internet IP address.  Email auto responder leads are from all over the United States.  Email auto responder leads are usually fresh leads.  When contacting these leads it’s best to “personalize” your email most of the time to gain the candidate’s trust.  The best time to send your emails out to these leads would be from Sunday night thru Thursday night, with most emails going out in the evening or night time.

MLM Surveyed Leads are leads that are generated thru the internet.  Candidates fill out a basic generic form online from a home business survey.  This form has their contact information including their name, address and reason for wanting to start a home based business.

Pre-Screened Verified Phone Leads are leads that have already been verified and are serious about starting a home based business.  You will still be provided the same information with these leads: candidate’s name, phone number, address, internet IP address and the reason they would like to start a home business.

Premium Double Opt-in Leads are leads that are generated by candidates filling out a form online that expresses their interest in having a home bases business. They fill in their name, address, phone number and best time to be reached.

Some business owners prefer to use auto traffic generators for their leads instead of phone and email marketing.  It can be hard to find people to talk about your company or business opportunities.  You can go from calling leads straight out of a phone book to purchasing a reasonably priced list of email leads.  Some business owners even go as far as handing out fliers in the parking lot of busy stores or even putting them on the windshield of parked vehicles.  You can create cards to stick in local shops for your leads or simply hang fliers on different poles or posts.  You can start with family members and ask them to try your product or business.  From family members to just random people you run into, word of mouth is a great strategy of marketing for leads.

And that’s the goal You can influence what your prospects want to buy, too, so be sure to promote what it is you want them to buy.

Email marketing is the piece of the business puzzle that most online network marketers overlook, and in doing so they let fall through the cracks the crucial relationship between themselves and their prospects. That is the key to the success of their network marketing business. Particularly in an MLM situation, it is important to forge this relationship so that your prospects will be inspired to become part of your network, which means more dollars in your pocket.

Heres one final word about how to improve your business through email marketing. It affords you the luxury of having leads driven to you, rather than having to chase them down. Having to play the role of the hunter rather than the hunted is the primary reason that many network marketers fail. You want your prospects to come to you, and email marketing is one of the best ways to do it.
