Do What You Are Good At
I read recently a book from the rich dad’s advisors series from Blair Singer titled “The ABC’s of Building a Business Team That Wins”. An excellent read for those of you who want. But I don’t want to talk about the general concept of the book that revolves around building teams based on a code of honor that the members would have to hold. A code specific designed for the whole team.
I would rather want to talk about something else in the book that grab my attention, thoughts, and feelings. Though I was exposed to the concept, I want to talk about, before, it was really while reading this book that kicked something inside me. Like when you are reading something you heard or read many times before somewhere else, but this time you say “wow, yes, that makes sense” and it gets imprinted inside you.
Well, while I was reading, in a chapter of the book the writer talks about some evaluations companies run on their employees with the purpose to identify their strong and weak points, where they are good at and where they are facing weaknesses related to their work. Once they do that they point to their workers their weak points to work on them in order to improve their performance. (more…)
